Drawing Lesson No. 3
Ideas are the beginning process of any creative endeavor. We have found it very helpful to work out the details of any concept in sketch form before rendering a final piece of art. In the presented example before us, Elvis has carefully crafted in pencil the outlines and paths that he will finally redraw in ink.
This process, of course, makes for a good practical drawing lesson.
However, having watched Mr. Swift sit working at his drawing board for many years, I can tell you that most of the time he just draws directly in ink, and that’s it.
The original sketch was drawn in one of our DOODLES & STUFF sketchbooks with an official DESIRE EVERYTHING – DISCARD NOTHING pencil and was done for Papyrus
