Behold the Bell System Western Electric Model 302 telephone. This particular telephone model was manufactured in the United States from 1936-1954. It was created by the industrial design firm of Henry Dreyfuss. There were 433 individual parts used in the production and it was considered to be one of the most innovative telephones at the time because of various state of the art features that set it apart from its predecessors. The phone was very popular and used for many years in the U.S. from the time of its manufacture through the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s.
